or recontextualizing the way we perceive a viral disease !

Environmental-, personal- and public-healthcare are fundamentally the same.
The care begins before we are born and reaches beyond our physical existence.

This involves everything from psycho-emotional education to
social housing, public-schooling, transportation & policy-making,
– undeniably the primary duty of our governments !

Caveat lector: There are at least two ways of reading my ‘articles’. They may be read as a ‘self-contained’ introduction
to a thought, idea or theory, or, alternatively & preferably, can be taken as a hub page‘ into the subject matter.
One may regard them as a vade mecum that goes hand-in-hand with other publications here & beyond which may be
consulted for further analysis or explanations, and/or use the words as vertexes or nodes of a much larger network
of ideas, ultimately leading into the realm of collective consciousness. (Indra’s Net) In order to accommodate this
second approach I keep the level of ‘redundancy’ higher than absolutely necessary. So the attentive reader should not
be annoyed by these repetitions or reiterations, they are in fact intended reflections of the contextual environment.
This is contemplative writing for the mindful reader, so please take your time and try to ‘think more slowly’.
The sometimes very abstract thematic requires a more metaphorical language with peripheral words & images.
This layout allows not only ‘mental breaks’ but also eases the navigation should the reader choose to leave the page or
paragraph and return to it later. As in all my writings, the reader can choose where to begin, end or deviate
… because eventually, everything will fall into its place anyway.

Experts warned us of pandemics decades ago,
and it wasn’t the first one either.

why weren’t we ready ?

Because with its impaired psycho-dynamic, our anthropocentric consciousness
doesn’t consider the psychosomatic entanglements.

! – Attention Dream Collapse – !

It is time to recognize that all our social-economic troubles
are the clear reflection of a
dysfunctional collective mindset
and just the ramifications of a much greater ecological problem.

… and now,

they don’t even know what hit them !

Neuroplasticity

As ‘human nature‘ begins
with our collective psychosomatic experience,
so are all our physical diseases, ailments or disorders
closely related to our common mental condition.

Just by naming something we call it into existence.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound ?

Of course, we are facing the same dilemma when the public media, serving as our
eyes & ears to the events, are not reporting or investigating; – we are flying blind !
Even worth when they are systematically manipulating the facts and feeding us
misinformation just to serve the interest of a few sociopathic sickos, – we are misled !

What kind of reality are you living in ?

From the ancient, spiritual teachings of Lao-Tze, Buddha or Jesus to the more modern
admonitions of philosophers & scientists, they all focused on the healing of our soul
or psyche which they identified as the main source of all human suffering,
psychophysical, psychosocially or psychosomatically.
Eventually, in the wake of the social-economic unrest of the early 20th century and in
the shadows of World War II, the late C.G. Jung began to warn us, not only about
the dangers of mental illnesses, but also about their viral potential
and our inability to prevent such psychic pandemics.

Jung saw the psychologically uneducated & unaware individual, as being ‘swept away’
by a socio-economic hysteria.

Psycho Dynamic imbalances
+
impaired neurological functions
make our species prone to
more radical, evolutionary adjustments.

Maybe mysterious or ‘bewildering’ to many of us,
but these ‘bad’ viruses play a vital role in evolution,
and by keeping a genetically ‘healthy’ diversity,
they are an important guarantor of Life on Earth !
(tell that an AI advocate)

Terrorized by the persuasive propaganda of religious & political movements, all fueled by
the multisensory marketing of trade & commerce, the individual gets entangled in a vicious
cycle of stress & anxiety, breaking down its psychological defence mechanism and physiological
immune response, until the ‘bubble‘ pops!

Now we have to add the more than sophisticated influence of our ‘social-media’ which has
substituted human interaction with manipulated or stupified socialization, again,
replacing social-emotional intelligence with some kind ofAI

“The manufacturing of consent” by Walter Lippmann and
Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernays, became the ‘Vade Mecum’
for the systematic deprivation of our social-emotional skills.
We became disconnected from the social-economic reality
of our environment or habitat.

Appeased by Bread & Circus, we, the stupid crowd,
ignorant masses or dumb flock of sheep, are
desperately looking for leadership, the ‘Good Shepherd’ or some ‘Guidance from Above’.
A linear hierarchic belief system coaxed its way into our minds and reconditioned
our social-emotional consciousness, perception & ethics.

Traumatized by the expulsion from the ‘Garden Eden’,
property became our substitute for ‘Eden’.

Paternalistic terror management of prohibitions & entitlements
replaced the natural balance & harmony of Life.

This social-emotional re-engineering of our intelligence had crippling effects on our
entire socio-economic thinking, disabled our common sense, and transformed
the sapience of our species into sociopathic behaviour.

A systematically disabled or manipulated consciousness left us with a compromised or
completely paralyzed, mental immune system. Leaving the ‘backdoor’ to our subconsciousness
unattended and wide open, made us vulnerable to all kinds of mental nonsense,
memes and other viral hysteria.

Our separation & estrangement from the rest of creation, has left a path of destruction & despair;
we discriminate people with health & education, enslaving whole nations with debt & starvation !
Now, this mindset of exploitation & abuse has left a heavy Ecological Footprint on our planet.

Now, this mindset of exploitation & abuse has left
a heavy Ecological Footprint on our planet.

A society, where education is for sale and News becomes just a ‘storyline’ of infotainment,
is especially vulnerable to manipulation & deception.
For a social species, like ours, the social-emotionally incapacitation of the individual intellect
means losing cohesion & congruence for the collective.
Ignoring this dynamic has weakened our psychophysical immunity & environmental adaptivity.

We have failed to reckon with Mother Nature, our host, our ecosystem:

?

? When & where did we go wrong ?

It is the characteristic of social beings that they not only share & trade goods & services
among each other, but also reflect, pass-on & transmit visions, ideas & knowledge
for the mutual benefit. This ability has served us well in the past and has propelled
our species to the ‘top of the food chain’
Language- & communication-skills, together with keen social-emotional sensitivities
are the key to such Network– or Swarm-Intelligence and have given humanity the sapience
to transform Survival into Living.

The ability to see Life as a whole, in its multidimensional complexity,
is a true liberation from the confinements of time & space,

it gives us a ‘voice’ or choice to respond to any circumstances or conditions.

Cognitive- & emotional empathy – together with our response-ability, interconnects us,
not only with our fellow men, but also with the ‘Rest of Creation’, our natural environment.
This social-emotional ‘sense’ that makes us susceptible to Others, got profoundly
corrupted or maimed. A systematic, spiritual disconnection from ‘Mother Earth’
– together with social dissociation, has caused severe psychosomatic traumata among us,
and we all know what stress & anxiety is doing to us on a daily basis.

This separation and a constantly growing isolation from the Nature of Things – our ecosystem,
made us lose sight & sense of Belonging & Communion.
We completely forgot that in the ‘Nature of Life’ there is no ultimate good or evil,
only a constant motion of harmony and counterbalance.

This brings us to the co-relation & interdependency
of mental & physical contagion & infection.

Emotional Contagion

Since biblical times we know how to propagate new ideas and make popular beliefs contagious.
We learned that logic & linguistics can reach deeply into people’s hearts & minds, and we use
music & imagery to ‘raise the spirits’ and move emotions into the ‘right direction’.
Now that we have divided & sold our earth & heavens multiple times and then exploited
the hell out of it, there is only one thing left to satisfy our spirits,
                                                                 – Money as the archetype of appropriation.

Under the spell of the linear hierarchic paradigm, addicted to bigger, better, more & more,
we began to weaponize the process of contamination and added Bacteria, Fungi & Viruses
to our long list of natural enemies. From herbicides & insecticides, from Glyphosate,
Agent Orange & DDT to the antibiotics, antivirals & antivirus software, the dilettantism
of our approach is mind-boggling and reveals a rather sick & degenerated species with
a deranged intelligence than a genus with sapiens.
Our fear of chaotic wilderness or animalic, beastly creatures, like snakes, bats & bugs,
is legendary. We are on a divine mission to bring order to the chaos, constantly fighting
the evil enemy, from the barbarians to the infidels, from dirt, weed & insects to orks,
aliens & zombies, the Abrahamic idea of law & order is the Pyramidion of our monoculture.

By demonizing all co-creative & synergetic ‘forces’ of nature,
– dividing everything into right & wrong,
we lost sight of the Whole and our sense of Balance & Dynamic.

This separation scheme isolated the Self from the collective,
the one- or single-sided view limited & distorted our perception,
impaired our social vision and
blindsided us on our common, environmental ‘frontline’.

Death & diseases became our enemy rather than a natural correspondent, counterweight
or equilibrium. A fight-or-flight mentality eventually transformed our freedom of multiple
choices into a decision-making nightmare. Instead of harmonizing, rectifying or
amalgamating, we are now fighting, destroying & conquering.
What’s left of our intelligence is constantly ‘driving’ for bigger, better & faster and
is measured & valued only by the success of growth & expansion.
The systemic estrangement from our natural habitat plus all kinds of social separation
anxieties have stressed our emotions to the limit.

A constant fight for survival with all its envy, fear & frustration requires a quite
sophisticated ‘Terror Management‘ that offers cheap but benumbing distractions [2],
provides more indulgence or simple words of Hope.

Centuries of distress & traumatization left our species in horrific conditions !

Such inherent, epigenetical stress & transgenerational trauma [3] have shaped our minds
to an incomprehensible degree and all the additional, everyday stressors impact our
mental & physical immune systems [4] way more than we are told or want to admit.

”The consequences of passing down the effects of trauma are huge, even if they are
subtly altered between generations. It would change the way we view how our lives in
the context of our parents’ experience, influencing our physiology and even our
mental health.”
Brian Dias – Emory University, Yerkes National Primate Research Center

Unlike most inherited conditions, this is not caused by mutations to the genetic code itself.
Instead, research shows a much more obscure type of epigenetic inheritance,
– that events in someone’s life can change the way their DNA & RNA is expressed,
and how that change can be passed on to the next generation.

The epigenetic processes or mechanisms are still little understood.
Like the histone modification for instance, where the proteins that act as
a bioinformatic scaffolding for the DNA, add or remove tiny chemical tags
from our DNA in response to changes in the environment in which we are living.
These tags turn genes on or off, giving us a more immediate way to adapt to
the changing conditions without inflicting a more permanent shift in genomes yet.

But this process modifies, changes or transcribes our entire
genes readability, expression or signalling
and is of great importance for our immune response.

Without a healthy body & mind, life is just survival,
just a state of languor & suffering,
our image of death & decay.

This was & is ground zero, the origins of our infestation with a psychosomatic virus
that has now evolved or ‘mutated’ into a global pandemic, affecting our entire
socio-economic thinking & behavior. This virus was passed-on by science & education,
down the generations and across the populations, over time and many mutations later,
our species transformed into a carcinogenic parasite, the Homo-Sociopathis.

You and I, we have become this life-threatening ‘disease’ that is constantly overstressing
the ecosystems of our planet and is contaminating our gracious host.
The anthropogenic infestation has now generated countless malfunctions and inconceivable
destructions to the eco-dynamic of our planet, all with consequences
beyond scientific comprehension.
OVERPOPULATION leaves a heavy footprint on our planet and is not only challenging
the food & habitat distribution but also creates more social-economic inequalities & unrest.
This leads to the displacement & migration of ‘man & beast’ and comes with major
infrastructural problems and PUBLIC HEALTH issues, all on top of the racial,
cultural & generational conflicts this eco-dynamic is evoking.
These, our social-economic predicaments -(Aristotel) became self-propagating,
unmanageable and have now turned into a serious ecological crisis
that will take centuries to rectify.

The increasing POLLUTION of water, air & soil has not only made us sick and systematically
weakened our IMMUNE SYSTEMS, but has also eliminated scores of men and other species
that were just classified as pest or unworthy; – again, the concept & term of pestilence or
plague originates in the belief that these are parts of a well-deserved punishment for
our Original Sin or evil deeds. Together with war, famine & natural disasters,
these are the curse or ‘demons’ we all have to endure & fight against. [5]

This world is viewed as not being a ‘Good Place’, its value is limited to money
and the only thing we care about is the ‘stuff‘ we create.
Nature always seems to stand in our way, is something we constantly fight, or simply pave over.
Common perception perceives illness, diseases, and most of the ‘Unknown’
as a threat and treats it like an enemy.

Since these ‘poisonous’ ideas of world domination, proprietorship & entitlements
went viral and infested the entire human population, we have lost our ability to
coordinate or harmonize our interaction with the collective, our common environment.

With such disintegrating intellect and impaired monocultural tunnel-vison
we live in a bubble of delusion & deception,
largely disconnected from the reality of our environment.

Our entire social-economic comprehension went delusional, divided the world
into haves & have-nots and made even healthcare, science & education subject
to profiteering and pathological consumerism.

(The Narcissism Epidemic and What We Can Do About It)

Obviously, such anthropocentric narcissism has upset the deities of nature
and provoked the necessary environmental reactions.

Our inability to adapt & respond to the environmental challenges in a sensible way
has activated all the safety mechanisms of our Blue Planet and finally unleashed
the mighty immune responses of our ecosystem.

All attempts to engineer our way out of this have failed miserably.
Unable to see the whole picture and to grasp the full extent of
our psycho-emotional interrelationship with nature, we missed
to recognize the social-economic-ecological realities.

Obsessed with our abstract ideas of how things should be, we got trapped in a dysfunctional
belief system and stuck in the delusions of a self-made, Artificial Intelligence.
After two major world wars and countless military interventions later, the ‘United Nations
of our ‘civilized’ world still hasn’t found a cure to curb such madness.

From Nuclear-Weapon-Ban and the Non-Proliferation Treaty to the Kyoto Protocol
and the Paris Climate Agreement, from the World Trade Organization and
the International Monetary Fund to the World Health Organisation and countless
other Environmental Protection Agencies, they are all doomed to fail because of
the socio-psychological disabilities of the participants.

A global pandemic of ecological & social dissociation has rendered
our species incompetent & mentally unequipped to manage even the most
basic tasks of ‘housekeeping‘ & coexistence.

The growing inability to cocreate coefficient symbioses and to foster
a dynamic & harmonic interrelationship with our ecosphere,
has demoted our species to a parasitic infestation and so placed us
on top of our own endangered species list.

Depending on our perception, we might perceive natural disasters, diseases or similar distress as
a challenge of Life, God’s punishment, or a transgression of his evil subservient, – Satan.

For most of us, the fear of pain, together with the culturally distorted [6] instincts
of self-preservation, make us feel compelled to fight the odds or battle an evil enemy.
For others these disastrous events mean opportunity, something to take advantage of,
to learn from, and gain knowledge. Sociopathic, parasitic behaviour twists those crises
into some chance to get ahead of the game.

From the Oil & Gas cartels
and the military-industrial complex
to banking & finance,
war & disaster-profiteering became
the main pillars of the global economy.

After forming their alliance in opioid & cannabis production the agrochemical [7]
and the pharmaceutical industry joined the club of these parasitic ‘bloodsuckers’.

Fear-mongering was always
the most effective marketing tool
for their sinister business.
What is the ‘hell of war’ for the one
is now public healthcare for big pharma;
a globalized mass- or epidemic hysteria  [8].

Bacteria, viruses & fungi belong to the greatest antagonists of humanity !

Needless to say, the systematic ransacking of our planet and the senseless
overconsumption are coming with a price, – “no free lunch” they call it.

The complexity of our life is just ‘jaw-dropping’

Approaching the Whole as an individual from just a singular viewpoint,
Life can become quite confusing.

Now as ‘the chicken come home to roost’, all our mental alarm systems are distracted
or non-existent and our immune systems are overstressed or completely down.

With our ‘intelligence’, stripped of its social-emotional inter-connectivity and
socially & ecologically completely dissociated, our species has abandoned its
greatest qualities to correspond & conspire, to cooperate & collaborate,
we traded social coherence for self-gratification. And our great exploitation scheme
did not just stop at water, soil & air, – we continued with men & ‘beast’.

By spoiling & depleting the commons and by privatizing or neglecting public
infrastructure & social services, we ended up with insufficient healthcare systems
worldwide and exposed our population to all kinds of health hazards.

Our war against nature was senseless, stupid, and extremely foolish from the outset,
a dysfunctional paradigm rendered our species insipient.

In hindsight, it wasn’t the technology, chemicals or weapons of mass destruction
that sealed our downfall, but rather our collective numb- & dumbness,
our sick mentality that got stuck in schoolboyish brawls over some ‘spoil or loot’.
It was this arrested development of our species, our devolution into HomoSociopathis,
that finally triggered the immune response of our global ecosystem.

We could have seen it coming.
The warning signs are everywhere
but obviously incomprehensible
to our current mental abilities.

Scientists, professionals & ordinary people have tried to warn us for centuries
but they all fell on deaf ears because our collective, mental abilities had already
deteriorated to an incomprehensible level,

an Anthropocentric Consciousness !

Nature is a complex, super-intelligent organism where everything is entangled,
interrelated, and in constant collaboration with everything else.
This dynamic interaction or motion keeps the equilibrium ‘alive’.

Undoubtedly, we are an integral part of this organism,
and our constant correspondence with It is, what we call, LIFE.

If the balance of this ecosystem is challenged, threatened, or even under attack,
the response will be equivalent or reciprocal.
For a majority of people, all this is incomprehensible and they continue with
their economic nonsense, looking for answers in science & technology or
political leadership & ‘divine justice’.
Now that we continue to ignore the warning signs and keep on overstressing ourselves
and our habitat, we begin to taste our own ‘medicine’.
After the anthropogenic hyper invasion has caused soil degradation, mass extinctions [8]
and rapid climate changes, we have now crossed the goal line of our ‘Rat Race’.

Extreme weather patterns, sea levels rising, freshwater shortage, coral reefs dying
pine beetle & algae infestation, wildlife & fish stock depletion, insect populations plummeting,
just to name a few devastating consequences of our actions,
are all unsuccessfully trying to bring us to our senses.

Now we are not only constantly exposed to a toxic cocktail of air pollutants
but also find our food & water full of heavy metals, antibiotics, microplastics,
insecticides, fungicides & weedkillers; – our fields are poisened !

Most of our people are malnourished or malnutritioned, have allergies or
dietary deficiencies, and are in need of supplements and/or drug treatments.

Monoculture leads to soil depletion & deforestation, followed by a dependency
on synthetic fertilizers & genetic engineering.

Now we eat too many carbohydrates, have sugar– and other food addictions,
and facing emotional eating disorders everywhere.

While our food becomes less nutritious
it becomes more & more toxic every day.

there’s chlorpyrifos,

sugar – the disease of globalization,

‘Forever-Chemicals’ in our tap water & bloodstream [9]

Heavy metal contamination of water air & soil,

plus mercury in vaccines and other pharmaceuticals [10]

Again & again, big pharma comes to our aid, helping us to get sicker every day,
‘fighting the good fight’ with hormones, antibiotics, antidepressants and all
sorts of painkillers. From the Opioid Epidemic to the government-assisted takeover
of the cannabis business, more widespread suffering means more profits !

Yes, one man’s gain is another man’s pain!

That brings us to the polluted air we breathe, our ailing immune systems,
and the Covid-19 pandemic !

Since the industrial revolution, for more than 6 generations or two centuries we
have exposed ourselves to massive amounts of airborne pollutants.
From the legendary smog in London to the megacities of today, from the emissions
of our petrochemical industries, combustion engines and nuclear fallout [11] to arctic
methan gas and toxic household fumes, we have very little knowledge about their
metabolic impact or their correlated, entourage effects on us or our habitat.

Record-breaking air pollution in 9 US cities   to    Air quality affects cognitive brain functions

The World Health Organization (WHO) has identified
polluted air as the single largest environmental risk,
causing all kinds of health issues that include
heart & lung diseases and neurological damages.

… and we are just beginning to understand!

A closer, etiological, more interdisciplinary examination of the above phenomena will reveal
a commonality in homeostatic devastation which includes our cell signalling networks
and affects our entire psychoneuroimmunology.

Meaning, we are sick to the bone, from head to toe, our metabolism is out of balance
or dysfunctioning and our mental & physical immune systems are down.
All our attempts to impose our ideas of law & order onto the chaos of ‘wilderness’,
to subdue & dominate our habitat have backfired in some form or another.

The question arises, is the viral anxieties & hysteria to ‘fight our wars’ against all kinds
of ‘evil’ causing more damages than a viral infection; – or what came first ?

Just a different perspective on the Whole-of-Life will reveal that Viruses, the oldest,
most abundant biological entities on Earth, are playing a central role in genetic diversity
and are a driving force in the evolution of life on earth. Viruses and the Microbiota are
the guarantors of a balanced & healthy ecosystem. These attributes place them in
direct opposition to anthropomorphic crowding & transgressions.

Viral diseases are just another ecological response to our economic insanity,

a madness that was seeded a long time ago.
With the introduction of the monocultural,
monotheistic belief system,
we planted ideas of human supremacy,
exceptionalism & entitlements.

Just extending our attention from the ‘Infection’ or contamination to
the psychophysiological affections it causes will reveal a different scenario,
one in which our species plays the buffoon and
the ‘Rest of Creation’ acts like a highly intelligent organism.

Of course, our socio-economic insanity, trapped in delusional belief systems of
the bronze age taught us to ignore all the warning signs and to continue with
our fight against the eco-dynamic forces of Nature.

A stressed-out species with an underdeveloped intellect and a recklessly immature behaviour,
is spending a great amount of its collective energy – and public funding of course –
just trying to outrun the ‘evil competition’ in a race to its ‘Dead End’.

Now that our planet is responding, and we are in the midst of
an economic-ecological super-crisis, humanity is incapable of
coming together and to act in a composed & collected fashion.

Unable to come to a consensus and to correlate & conspire with its natural habitat,
our stupefied species lost all means necessary to coordinate its efforts and
to cooperate & respond collectively & sensible.

Remember, in order to implement the laws of a linear, hierarchic belief system, they had to
debilitate our common sense and rule out the social-emotional aspect of our Intelligence.
This divided our societies & nations ‘along the property-lines’ of ‘have & have-nots’.
The ‘power’ of ownership is seen as a ‘divine’ right or entitlement
to rule or lead the poor and ‘have-less’.

This pathological mindset has corrupted & eroded our entire thinking & behaviour,
warped science, education & healthcare into a commercial concern and turned
simple natural phenomena into profitable businesses.

Capitalistic market forces are now controlling & dictating all our research & development
from the educational institutions to the laboratories of the agricultural-,
petrochemical- and military-industrial-complex.

‘Competing, outperforming and winning the race to the top’

is the name of this senseless game.
From early on we ‘learn’ to be
competitive and career-oriented,
educated to get ahead of the game
and become leaders & influencers,
– that means wealthy bosses of course.

All leaders & bosses need followers and have to ‘carve’ their little ’empire’
out of the common. Obviously, when they succeed, they have rivals & competitors to fight,
and new markets to conquer.
Then they have to guard their territories of expertise,
defend their niche markets, and
protect copyrights & intellectual properties.

By including proprietary entitlements to the sociospiritual fear factor we just added
financial distress to our terror management. Throwing more & more fiat money after
the problem just created the delusion of an infinite amount of ‘wealth’ where in reality
it added more ecological indebtedness to the ‘bill’ and deprived our children of their future.

Just add economically compromised socialization to mental deficiencies
and neurological damages and we have Homo-Incompetenti !
That might explain our hysteric response to the recent coronavirus outbreak;
– or is it just symptomatic for the collapse of an obscene culture ?

It hits hard when we catch our leaders & experts ‘sleeping at the wheel’, when we have to
realize that we are less than prepared for the things to come.
Instead of being regarded as a natural invigorator or reconditioner of global ecodynamics,
– like rain & sunshine guarantees our sustenance, death & diseases became the aggressors
or assailants and are now a social-economic burden for our societies.

Consequently, –

A scientist – once called a wise man by Claude Lévi-Strauss,
“…is not he who gives the right answers; he is the one who asks the right questions.”

The assertiveness of such wise individuals is not based on the wealth of
their own limited knowledge but on their ability to enrich the collective with
insight & sensibility towards a better perspective of the whole problematic.

some holonic science[12] of:

SARS-CoV-2

( and not to forget all its mutations ! )

The structure !

Still, science & technology are under the impression that we are able to engineer
our way out of the dilemma and betting on winning the war against this viral attack.
Unfortunately, the hope of our belief system grants us no other choice than to fight
such ‘evil’ – and there we go again into another senseless battle for profit and world domination.

And what a fight that is, an utterly divided bunch of imbeciles and narcissistic egomaniacs,
incapacitated by centuries of quarrelling & infighting, unable to come together,
to conspire & coordinate their actions, is taking on the hyper-intelligent organism
that just made human existence possible.

Viruses: An Intelligent Design Perspective

– and other associated communication issues.

Most of what we call diseases, caused by external pathogens or internal dysfunctions,
are signalling some kind of abnormal conditions or behaviour in the organism or ecosystem.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as an isolated event or phenomena,
nothing happens in a vacuum. Every malfunction or communication error involves
a network of ‘elements’ & facts, all engaged in a constant crosstalk
and the exchange of information.

Deep Ecology views the natural world as a subtle balance of complex inter-relationships
in which the existence of an organism is highly dependent on the existence
of other organisms within a greater ecosystem,

this constant interaction constitutes the dynamic & synergy of nature.

A healthy organism or ecosystem depends on diversity and an interactive,
intercellular communication network; – viruses carry & transmit genetic information,
they have been with us since the ‘dawn of day and will continue
to be with us till the ‘end of time’. [13]

In the past decade, scientists have learned that the vast bacterial world inside the human body plays a role in
regulating the energy we take in from food, primes the immune system, and performs a variety of other functions
that help to maintain our health. Now, researchers are gaining similar respect for the viruses we carry around.
For a start, the variety and the sheer number of viruses that inhabit us put our bacterial companions to shame.
Many of the viruses prey on the bacteria in our bodies, altering their numbers and diversity and shuffling genes
– including genes for antibiotic resistance – from one bacterium to another. 2011, Elizabeth Pennisi, writing for Science.

Human virome usually outnumber the roughly 40 trillion bacteria in a typical human microbiome by 10:1

With our blurry, cross-eyed vision and fractured perception of ‘reality’, we lost sight
of the ‘bigger picture’, the interdependency & correlation with our natural world
Our sense of social-ecological interconnectivity & responsibility got
corrupted by anthropocentric ideologies and the deficiencies of our economic thinking.

All the neurological damages
we have inflicted on our own

and other species, [14]
plus the mental derangements
and psychological dissonances
with ourselves and our environment,
have made our socio-economic,
scientific & political judgments
bias or impaired.

We are already mistaken the virus for an external or
extrinsic aggressor and trying to blame everybody & everything else, but ourselves;

– our shortcomings start to become obvious.

With a growing population come more limitations for the individual.
The structural inequalities are systemic for a sick economy.
A discriminating & hostile mentality affects all our communication systems,
words are taken hostage, and languages are weaponized.
Systematic misinformation & ‘fake news’ are commonplace, the people are
showered with platitudes & propaganda or are silenced completely.

Nations are ripped apart along party lines and the people are divided by social class,
race & gender, all fighting for their place at the ‘feeding trough’. The deterioration
of our interpersonal communication becomes a disconcerting trend and the
misunderstanding & misinterpretation of our natural habitat is highly disturbing.

The last 200 years, a ‘rush hour’
of technological advancements

– starting with the Industrial Revolution,
leading into the Information Age,
has created a flash flood
of knowledge & information
that has now flushed us away
like a tsunami a tropical paradise.

Goethes ‘Sorcerer’s Apprentice’

The complexity & diversity of our ecosphere as a whole, and the profoundness of its
dynamic & synergy, are inconceivable for the idiosyncratic perception of the individual.

Not even the brightest mind on the planet is able to comprehend, process or ‘compute’
the daily tidal wave of information. On the contrary, an overload of information
becomes ‘white noise’ and drives out knowledge, – “Once capacity is surpassed,
additional information becomes noise and results in a decrease in information processing
and decision quality… Having too much information is the same as not having enough.” [Ruff]

Research shows that unprocessed information uses the same neural code as the
thrill of anticipation and the reward motivations of gambling, money or junk food
– people can easily become susceptible to clickbait and addicted to
overconsumption of information. [15]

Again, – this ‘Having too much information is the same as not having enough’,
might be one of the key-formulas to the epistemological problems of perception
which todays science & technology still has to master.

Lost in Translation

The decentralized dynamic & meaning of viral infections can only be understood
by a decentralized, interdisciplinary analysis of wholistic thinking.

A more wHolistic, eco-dynamic observation of the Covid-19 phenomenon reveals a
widespread,  heterogeneous communication breakdown, affecting everything from our
social-emotional relationships among ourselves and our correspondence with our
natural habitat, to the neurotransmissions of our
biochemical messaging network
or endocrine system.

Synaptic fatigue, decay or interferences
are not only affecting mind & psyche
but are also governing our entire metabolism
from head to toe.

Just a little error in the cell signalling interaction or the cellular information
processing may cause diseases such as cancer, autoimmunity, and diabetes.

The neurological damages – caused by an overload of environmental toxins in water, air
& soil, go far beyond the corruption & destruction of brain & spinal cord functions.
They affected our entire cellular communication network, disrupted our biochemical
messaging network or endocrine system and rendered our whole immune response
weak or ineffective.

Endocrine disorders with hormonal imbalances and malfunctioning
Cell-matrix interactions have reached epidemic proportions.

The constant flow of intercellular communication is what we call ‘being alive’ & healthy.
Neurotransmissions such as cell signalling & crosstalk are the key to motion & emotions,
to comprehension & memory, to the synergetic metabolism of our digestive,
respiratory and cardiovascular-system including the growth & decay of cells.

How Covid-19, Gut Microbiota, lung immunity, and Probiotics interact
begins with understanding our immune system

Even though the human genome is evolving faster than ever, our genetic make-up has
serious problems catching up with the rapidly changing environmental conditions.

Unfortunately, an increased & concentrated population is also prompting a rise in
evolutionary interventions of all kinds.
The invasive & violent character of our Human expansion, or colonization, had a
devastating effect on the entire eco-dynamic of our planet.

Destroyed habitats with reduced biodiversity and got us in closer contact with exotic
wildlife and so increased the cross-species transmission of viruses and other pathogens,
incompatible with the genome of their new host. [16]

“We invade tropical forests and other wild landscapes, which harbor so many species of animals and plants — and within those
creatures, so many unknown viruses,” David Quammen, author of ‘Spillover: Animal Infections and the Next Pandemic’,
recently in the New York Times. “We cut the trees; we kill the animals or cage them and send them to markets. We disrupt
ecosystems, and we shake viruses loose from their natural hosts. When that happens, they need a new host. Often, that’s us.”

Our pulmonary or respiratory system is one of the most recently evolved adaptations
to terrestrial life. Its interconnective nature requires a complex interplay with our
Cardiovascular system and the Guts. Several cell types have to work in concert to
control & guarantee an effective pulmonary immune response. Dynamic cellular crosstalk
coordinates the development and constant regeneration of the respiratory system.
 [17]

Often the mucosal tissues of our body are the ‘first line of defence’.
They produce & secrete mucin proteins that host our very own microbiomes and provide
not only chemical barriers & lubrication, but also play a significant roll
in inter- & extra-cellular communication and signal transduction & transcription.

Our Mucus Does way more than we think !

Mucus

Our mucus acts as a communicator between the respiratory system and the guts.

The existence of the gut–lung axis and its implications in both health and disease
could be profoundly important for both disease etiology and treatment.

In recent years, it has become more evident that the intestine can play a critical role
in directing immune responses outside the local environment, including the lung.

Unfortunately, most vaccinologists are looking for specific antigens,
and the regulators are pushing to purify products eliminating
the immune potentiator agents coming from self-adjuvants.

Undoubtedly, these adjuvants are a determinant vaccine component, in particular
in mucosal applications, and pivotal for future vaccine formulations.

Because of insufficient knowledge about our mucosal immune functions only a
few mucosal vaccines exist. Our mucosa is constantly challenged by a majority
of infections including commensal organisms which might not produce diseases but
induce an immune response. In addition, the mucosa is the only route capable to
protect itself and to induce systemic immune response as the parenteral route

the Guts

In a published paper in ‘Gastroenterology’, Hong Kong researchers found that
Covid-19 patients had a distinct gut bacterial profile, characterized by the loss
of beneficial species important for maintaining gut homeostasis.
Patients with antibiotics usage had the worst gut dysbiosis among all — advocating
the prudent use of antibiotics.
Profiling the baseline gut microbiota of those patients upon hospital admission could
predict the severity & course of the Covid-19 infection.
“These data suggest that Bacteroides species may have a potential protective role
in combating SARS-CoV-2 infection …”

SARS-CoV-2 , a coronavirus of likely zoonotic origin in China, is indicating a much
larger issue than our authorities want to admit. Looking at the bigger picture, we will
find our species in great, psychosomatic distress; with collapsing socio-economic
structures, political mismanagement and inappropriate intellectual faculties
we do not have the symbiotic trades to live in harmony with our habitat & host.

From Zoonosen to Anthropronosen [in German]
In his foreword to his treatise: “On the common diseases of both man & animal”, Prof. Dr. A. Koegel
refers to the urgency of cooperation between medicine and veterinary medicine. To meet this need,
a working committee for the study and control of the infectious diseases of human & animal origin
has been founded. This small volume tries to summarize, in compendium form, the essentials concerning
etiology, symptomatology, therapy and prophylaxis of nearly every infectious or parasitic disease
infective to man and other animals. It is addressed to the students in both disciplines, to zoologists,
livestock breeders, farmers, hunters and all lovers of animals. Such a treatise is urgently needed
and should prove valuable, provided it is up to date and the statements made are accurate.
Furthermore, it should not merely follow the old-trodden path, but should discuss the provocative
biological aspects expressed in the ecology of the hosts and parasites and the complicated
epidemiology of the infection chains illustrated by concrete examples. This has not been done.’

Monitoring the adaptivity & mutation of this virus within its human host is not
only an interdisciplinary undertaking and a socio-economic challenge for
the international community, but it is also of enormous importance for our
environmental perception and ecological engagement.

An epidemic disease, such as Covid-19, is merely an aspect of a much larger,
socio-economic problem, which, in itself, is just reflecting
our enormous environmental incongruities.

Mainstream science is incohesive, fragmented by linear, hierarchic beliefs and corrupted
by ill-conceived economics. Science & Technology became a vital part of economic warfare
and is causing unimaginable suffering worldwide.
Universities and commercial labs compete for the ‘big bucks’, fight for reputation
and accreditation has priority. While an $ 11.9 trillion healthcare industry and big pharma
are battling over patents & copyrights, and some sociopaths secure their profits,
the rest of creation has to step aside and the 99.99% of us have to be patient.

The correlation between the current ecological crisis
and our economic practices suggests that the survival of our species
depends on shutting down the source of such appropriation & empowerment.

Unfortunately, the hierarchical rationality, or logic of the monotheistic belief system
is implying that economic wealth and political powers can only come from the destruction
and exploitation of ‘savage things’, such as wilderness, heathens, and other lower life-forms;
All ‘other’ things become some sort of evil, an adversary, an enemy, villain or disease,
all out to steal our belongings, take away our place, our health, and our life.

With this discriminatory ‘philosophy’, we have created ‘market’ values and entitlements
that are completely delusional and wildly unrelated to the real costs and
subsequential ramifications of our activities on this planet.

There are now more than 7.8 billion people trying to get ahead of the game and
to make a living, all desperately seeking to secure some form of property,
and in hope of finding a ‘Better Place’ somewhere in ‘the Promised Land’.

Again & again, it’s our idiocy that gets surprised or caught off-guard by the consequential
phenomena of diseases, environmental catastrophes or political uprisings –
in any event, prompting an already altered or ‘doctored’ immune response.
Instead of evolving & adapting to the challenge, and rather than conspiring as a
collective, we follow some dim-witted decision-making scheme in which we’re usually left
with only a fight-or-flight option, just one of these ‘acute stress responses’
that does not solve anything.

Again, the Covid-19 lockdown has made the rich much wealthier and the poor even poorer.

And the question arises:

– can something be extinct that doesn’t exist anymore ?

A short description or characterization of Humanity – also called Homo Sapiens,
will reveal that there is not much left of this ‘Sapiens’ in our species.
With the social-emotional aspect of our ‘intelligence’ removed, the sense
of collective cohesion & affinity has diminished, is utterly dysfunctional
or nonexistent at all.
The ability to empathize with our fellow men and to correlate with our natural
environment gave us the social ingenuity to correspond, cooperate and to
coexist for almost 200.000 years.
But now, without this collective or common sense, we lost our Sapiens, evolved
into something else, closer to a Homo-Sociopathis, a species which is in contempt
of its environment and unsuitable for a symbiosis with its habitat.
Now this neurotic species, in its anthropocentric self-pity, lives in a
collective delusion of a world stressed between self-destruction and survival.

Blinded by socio-psychological & philosophic misconceptions,
our entire species is now in mental & physical disarray and in grave danger
to be swallowed by its own demons.

Again, the complexity of Covid-19 has rebutted all those unintelligent
notions of segregation which are separating philosophies from education,
scientific research & technology, and which are claiming that
the socio-economic & ecological conditions are unrelated to the history
of our mental & physical health.

The viral disease has proven that our past & future,
as well as everything else,
are universally connected in the chaos of the presence.

But LIFE goes on, with or without Humanity !
Only the transcendental abilities of our social-emotional intelligence
will be able to join the continuum of life.

The way we respond to the collapse of our civilization will determine how bad things get
and what will replace it. The physical & mental challenges are enormous and unparalleled
in history. They will force us to question our identity, our values,
and our environmental relationships, individually & collectively.
Will we prioritize the survival of our species, or will we continue with the
disassociation & disintegration, dividing us along the lines of culture, nationality,
property, race, religion, gender or party-lines ?

Unless we recognize the synergy & eco-dynamic in this natural chaos of life,
and approach the matter with a fundamentally new mindset, everything we do
is just another revolution of our malfunction, another missed opportunity
to evolve & adapt, to rejuvenate the sapiens of our species,
and to reconcile with the inevitable reality of Life.

If we don’t reject this linear hierarchic paradigm and change from
an exclusionary to a more collective approach, any viral infection
can become ‘the beginning of the end’.
